Karen Hansel
Administrative Assistant
Birt Family Law | Restorative Divorce®
As the Administrative Assistant at Birt Family Law, Karen plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming experience for every client. She assists with client intake, prepares essential documents, coordinates communications, and helps clients connect with the team as needed. Her supportive presence and attention to detail help keep our practice grounded, responsive, and client focused.
Karen brings more than two decades of administrative, legal, and business experience to her role. She is often the first point of contact for new clients, and she approaches that responsibility with warmth, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the challenges families face during transitions.
Outside of the office, Karen enjoys outdoor activities, crocheting, reading, and spending quality time with her family and pets. Each summer, she also travels to Montana to volunteer with Heroes and Horses, a nonprofit that uses wilderness experiences to support the transformation and healing of veterans.
“Karen is the calm and capable presence that helps hold the Birt Law experience together. Clients trust her instantly, and so do I.”
