Interpreter Services for Mediation & Legal Consultations

630-891-2478

We are committed to providing accessible and supportive legal and mediation services to every client. If you or your co-parent speaks a language other than English, we offer optional access to certified interpreter services for your mediation or legal consultation sessions.

When Interpreter Services Are Available

Interpreter services can be added for:

  • Mediation sessions (remote or in-person)

  • Legal consultations and planning meetings

  • Preparation for parenting agreements or divorce documents

  • Court appearance preparation or document review

These services are entirely optional and must be requested in advance.

How Interpreter Services Work

We coordinate with third-party providers such as LanguageLine Solutions to provide certified interpretation in over 240 languages. Services are offered via:

  • 📞 Audio interpretation (by phone)

  • 🎥 Video interpretation (via secure Zoom link)

You may request either method depending on your comfort level and technology access.

Current Rates (Passed Through at Cost)

  • Audio Interpretation: $3.95 per minute

  • Video Interpretation: $4.95 per minute

Interpreter services are billed separately and are not included in our hourly or flat fee rates for mediation or legal services. These fees will be disclosed and approved in writing before any session.

What to Expect

  • Interpreter services are arranged only with advance notice and approval

  • Clients will receive an estimate of expected interpreter costs

  • Pre-payment or approval for billing may be required

  • Services are provided in real time, not through translated documents

  • English remains the official language for all written documents

Please note: Interpreter services increase accessibility to your legal or mediation process. However, they do not include the translation of contracts, court filings, or other written legal materials. All official documentation is prepared and submitted in English.
